Investigators - Mary, Jo, Debbie, Kristen, and Mike

A special thanks to Mary and Jo for putting this investigation together and for the following write-up.

Late last year we scheduled the Lake Charles investigation for Feb. 1st. Little did we realize, until too late, we scheduled to meet in the middle of a Mardi Gras parade.  Due to the parade, part of the group was trapped north of the 210 loop, and the rest were trapped south of the 210 loop. We finally met up after many phone calls. Tom-Tom, Map-Map, and Jo-Jo became pretty agitated with constant missed turns.

In this family home were reports of voices, cold spots, apparitions, orbs, odors, and physical ailments.  It is also reported that the owners parents died in the home.  Also reports of a previous occupants apparition have been observed.

For the investigation, we set up 4 IR cameras.  Baseline readings were taken.  After lights out, we also used 4 digital voice recorders, 4 digital cameras, K II meter, and digital thermometer. We had several personal experiences which include surrounding coldness and noted rises in temperature.  There were no significant spikes in the K II.  Many of the sounds we heard that could be interpreted as "footsteps" corresponded to traffic on a main highway.  Also, many revving engines on the roads could be interpreted as paranormal sounds.  After reviewing the evidence, which consisted of digital photos, hours of voice recordings, and IR video, there was no evidence of paranormal activity.

At this time we conclude that the private residence produced no definitive evidence of paranormal activity.
